Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey was one of several players on hand to see President Donald Trump speak at Sparrows Point near Baltimore on Tuesday.
It was a heck of an experience that saw Humphrey and his teammates get the opportunity to ride in the president’s motorcade.
And it turns out that it has even inspired the Ravens’ four-time Pro Bowler (remember the Pro Bowl?!) to vote for the first time in his life.

The Ravens are gearing up for a Sunday night clash with the Atlanta Falcons this week, but the media wanted to talk to Humphrey about his experience meeting with President Trump.
He said that while he’s not very political, expect to see him at the polls next election.
“That was a little surprising; that’s not how things were supposed to go,” Humphrey said about his opportunity to meet the president. “But President Trump asked us if we wanted to ride with him, and I was not going to turn down a ride with the president.”

Humphrey said it was “quite an experience” to ride in the president’s armored vehicle, and was then asked if being at the event was an expression of his political beliefs (because, apparently, it can’t just be cool to go see the President of the United States speak anymore).

“To be honest, I did not vote,” Humphrey said. “I don’t think I’ve ever voted. I did try to vote this last time, but my absentee ballot didn’t come in.

“So, I don’t really have any political beliefs,” he continued. “[But] I do plan on voting the next time around.”
Other players on hand to see the President on Tuesday included Ravens kicker Tyler Loop, long snapper Nick Moore, and punter Ryan Eckley.

No word on whether the experience inspired them to vote in the next election.
