For his career, he is averaging 75 catches, 1,008 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns per season. With Bo Nix under center, he has a chance to exceed these numbers.
On the other side, the Chiefs brought in the Super Bowl MVP to shore up their backfield concerns. They added Kenneth Walker III to the squad, and it seems that they are expecting him to be a three-down back for the team. If he can consistently chew up yardage, it will help a team that was the 8th-worst team in football in rushing yards.
Both teams have high hopes for this year, and this is an early test for both clubs to see what they will need to work on over the next few weeks.

Jaylen Waddle
Being a wide receiver in the NFL is one of the most challenging positions. You’re running routes and being held/pulled while trying to time your catch with the throw of a guy many yards away. Waddle makes it look easy, and despite not having too many eye-popping seasons, he now has a chance to build a strong start and rapport with quarterback Bo Nix. It will be interesting to see how quickly, and if, he becomes Nix’s favorite target.
Kenneth Walker III
When you come to a team with Patrick Mahomes, you probably aren’t expected to be a major difference-maker at running back. However, with Walker III, the Chiefs are hoping that he can have even more running room with all of the attention Mahomes and the receiving corps commands. Walker had a great Super Bowl, winning the MVP, but he wasn’t even the primary back in Seattle before injuries thrust him into the forefront. It will be interesting to see just how dynamic he will be in this offense.
