Shoppers are mourning several grocery store products this year, from a nostalgic juice staple to cult-favorite snack flavors reportedly being cleared from shelves.
Some 2026 grocery exits are confirmed, while others have been reported by food outlets and shoppers.
Coca-Cola confirmed a longtime freezer-aisle exit because of “shifting consumer preferences,” The Associated Press reported earlier this year.

Meanwhile, PepsiCo announced last year that it planned to reduce nearly 20% of its U.S. product offerings as part of an effort to focus on products with simpler ingredients and functional benefits. Food outlets have reported that more than 20 snacks could be affected, though PepsiCo has not confirmed every individual product.

Minute Maid frozen juice concentrates
Coca-Cola is ending Minute Maid frozen orange juice, lemonade and limeade products, which many shoppers remember fondly from childhood. The company said the move ends its presence in the frozen-can category after 80 years.
“My family would buy these to make frozen icees in the summer,” one person wrote in the subreddit r/Millennials. “Can’t believe they’re being discontinued.”

Blue Bell Butter Crunch
Blue Bell’s Butter Crunch, vanilla ice cream filled with chunks of crunchy chocolate peanut butter candy, is also gone for now. The company’s own product page says the flavor “is no longer available.”
“I want them to bring back Butter Crunch so dang bad,” one Reddit user wrote in a thread devoted to Blue Bell flavors shoppers want to see return.

Cheese Pizza Cheetos Puffs returned in 2025 after a 20-year hiatus, but food outlets have reported that the flavor is now being phased out again.
The pizza-inspired puffs were among the PepsiCo cuts Allrecipes reported.

Lay’s Sweet Potato Poppables are another snack reportedly being removed from shelves amid PepsiCo’s broader reductions.

The light, sweet potato-flavored snack no longer appears among the flavors on Lay’s current Poppables page. Reports have said the product is one of several Poppables varieties being discontinued, although PepsiCo has not confirmed.
“These were such a comfort food of mine,” one Reddit user lamented. Another said his girlfriend’s “heart breaks every time she goes to the store because they no longer carry them.”
