Bigfoot eyewitness Todd Neiss on mysterious beast sightings in Ohio
Todd Neiss, an American Primate Conservancy founder, shares his belief in Bigfoot after experiencing sightings in Ohio. Neiss discusses eerie howls and enormous footprints reported by locals, explaining that his own encounter during a military exercise in 1993 made him a believer. He describes the creatures as very large and athletic.
In the early morning hours of July 5, a man saw a Bigfoot shortly after leaving a cabin a friend of his had rented in Voluntown, Connecticut, presumably for the Fourth of July weekend. The man was making his way back home to Rhode Island at the time.
After leaving the cabin’s long dirt driveway and crossing a bridge on the road, he wrote to The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization that he “witnessed something jump into the road from my right heading to the woods on my left.”
He had to hit his brakes so that he wouldn’t hit the “bipedal, 8-8½ foot tall creature.” The presumed Bigfoot didn’t stop and never looked at him as it crossed the road in front of him.

“It had coarse, matted, and greasy looking long brown hair covering every part of its body I could see,” wrote the witness who went on camera with an investigator a few days after the sighting.
“Its legs were shorter than its torso and its arms literally hung down to right around knee height. Must have had an 8 – 9ft ‘wing span’ if it fully outstretched its arms.”
He was a skeptic before the sighting, but is not a skeptic anymore. It took him “a minimum of 60-90 seconds to regain control of my faculties” and continue his drive home.

This wasn’t a bear caught in his high beams, he insists. It was a cryptid that walked in front of his car. That he is certain of. He spoke to two BFRO investigators and went on camera from the spot where he claims to have seen the Bigfoot.
While recalling his sighting, he was asked if he thought the Bigfoot he saw was male or female. He responded, “I, you know, I don’t know… I’ll say this, if the females are that big, I don’t want to see a male.”
Someone off camera, we can assume from the response he gave, asked if the Bigfoot he saw had boobs. The witness replied, “No, there were no boobs.”

Sometimes you have to ask the tough questions. Are we any closer to knowing the truth about Bigfoot based on this sighting?
I don’t think we can answer that. Not at the moment anyway.
However, as long as we have people out there willing to investigate reports and ask the questions no one else is willing to, that includes whether the Bigfoot had boobs or not, we’re headed in the right direction.
