The MLB Playoffs are back in action with the Yankees taking on the Rays in Game 1 of the ALDS. Underdog wants you to get in on the action with a promo offer to play $5 and get $100 using promo code FOXNEWS.
The Yankees were able to escape the first round with a sweep of the Red Sox. Boston didn’t even put up much of a fight as the Bronx Bombers lived up to their name with homer after homer and solid pitching. Now they must face another division foe, and one of the best teams in baseball if they want to advance.
They will once again rely on strong pitching and timely hitting to win. Gerrit Cole gets the nod for the Yankees today, and having him as your third starter is arguably the best option you can have. He has been hit hard at times this season, so he will have to avoid giving up a big inning.

The Tampa Bay Rays are the top team in the American League. They were amazing at home this year as well, winning almost 30 more games at home than losses. They have had some postseason success in the past, but don’t have nearly the payroll or name recognition as the Yankees.
This team is built around Junior Caminero’s success this season (.276 batting average, 42 homers, and 101 RBIs). It also has a strong starting rotation led by today’s starter, Drew Rasmussen. He will take the hill in hopes of giving his team a 1-0 lead in this best-of-five series.
