The Cleveland Guardians are a postseason mainstay. They seem like they make it to the postseason every year, but success has escaped. The last time they made it to the World Series was 2016, but they lost that to the Cubs.
The Chicago White Sox are playing with house money. They lost over 300 games over the past three seasons, and this year was a shock to see how well they played. Chicago is now up 1-0 in the series and the Guardians need a win to even it up.
The Tampa Bay Rays got a fantastic performance from Drew Rasmussen in Game 1 of the postseason. Their offense wasn’t exactly amazing, but when you nearly no-hit a team, you only need one run to win, and that’s precisely what they got from the offense.
The New York Yankees now send out their best pitcher, Cam Schlittler, in hopes of winning Game 2 and tying up the series for when they head back to New York. Their offense can’t really go anywhere but up from here, so this does give them a great opportunity.
With two great games today and two teams looking to bounce back from Game 1, you won’t want to miss these games.
