What happens when you get two heavyweights in a league slugging it out both looking to avenge a loss? We will find out as the Rams head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Looking back at the battles between these two teams is fascinating. It may not tell us what will happen in this one, but the teams have played five times since 2020, with tonight being the sixth game between the two. For non-division foes, that is quite a bit of matchups.

The Eagles are looking like the better of the two squads at the moment with four straight wins over the Rams. That includes the 2024-25 playoffs when they took down the Rams 28-22 in Philadelphia.
Last year was one of the more interesting games between the two teams. The Rams built a big lead in the first half, going up 19-7 when the teams headed into the locker room. Then in the second half, they started the drive with a great touchdown pass and extended their lead.
Most teams do not come back from down 26-7, but the Eagles had other dreams. They had three unanswered touchdown drives and were up 27-26 near the end of the 4th quarter. There was enough time for some Matthew Stafford heroics.
As the Rams lined up for a field goal, they snapped the ball, set it, and the kick was blocked. The Eagles ran the ball into the end zone for a touchdown, winning the game 33-26 (and covering the spread).
