Let’s get the day rolling across this incredible country we get to call home with a fresh edition of Tuesday Screencaps where we analyze Paulina Gretzky suddenly dumping out multiple rounds of content and the money you guys are spending to furnish dorm rooms for your kid(s).

I had a few emailers Monday claim that my headlines were clickbait. Blah, blah, blah. The headline said Macy Kate and then I had Macy Kate in the post. I can’t help it if you’re using some old flip phone that won’t load Instagram embeds. Tough luck.

That means you’re not about to see hot mom Paulina Gretzky (below) dumping out black bikini content on a yacht while posing next to a black panther statue, for some reason. I have no idea what this all means, but I want you guys to realize that Paulina is now 37 (turns 38 in December).

PAULINA GRETZKY HIT THE GOLF COURSE DRESSED FOR SUCCESS AND WON, BROOKS NADER IN HER BAYWATCH RED & A SQUIRREL

And why do we celebrate Paulina dumping out bikini content at 37? Those of you who’ve been reading Screencaps already know that I’m big on the women who refuse to turn into yoga experts who pray to some imaginary butterfly goddess while on a Costa Rican jungle retreat.

Too many semi-famous, D-list women, especially during the #MeToo movement, hit 35 and they suddenly acted as if they could no longer be hot because it was bad for their street cred.

Not Paulina.

KEY TRUMP AGENCY PUTS TOP UNIVERSITIES IN CROSSHAIRS OVER ALLEGED RACE-BASED DORM PROGRAMS

How much are you guys spending to decorate dorm rooms for your kids?

Kevin emailed in saying his wife had dropped $800 on their daughter’s dorm room on things like a padded headboard, sheets, a comforter, etc. That price sounded outrageous to me. Over the last 24 hours, I’ve learned that many of you are paying for wall decorations, and all sorts of non-essentials.

– CPA John emails: As someone who is in the midst of buying everything to move a son into his dorm at BC I can offer up what it’s like to go through the process from the male point of view.

And as someone who once literally packed everything for a vacation except for underwear I am smart enough to have my wife handle everything.

She’s having a great time because she selects things and offers him choices and 99% of the time the answer is “I don’t care, anything is fine”.

Our list is coming out a little less than $700 for the necessities which includes things like an iron.

I think we all know that’s going to go unused.

If you include the additional $250 for cold weather gear that we don’t need in Hawaii it gets to be a little more than $900

Here’s the breakdown

Bedding $187 (no headboard)

Bath/gym $231

Laundry $104

Misc supplies $166

Clothes $253

I don’t know if Kevin’s aware of it but he might be getting off easy because my wife says there are actually outfits out there that specialize in dorm décor which includes design themes and professional set up. He can also take comfort in the fact that his daughter’s food bill isn’t going to be nearly what it is for a 175 lb. kid that likes to lift weights.

– Brandon in NW Houston is living through this stage of life right now: Slightly different take on dorms in 2026. I don’t know how it was for you, but when I went to Southwest Texas back in 1991, I had some clothes, a TV, and a gleam in my eye. Our youngest is off to OK State in a week, and mom has been going crazy on his dorm. We have enough Amazon boxes to build a 1:1 scale fort out of them. I’m talking hanging organizer for the closet, medical kit, shoe rack, mattress pad, fan on a clip, light on a clip, etc etc. Hell, she had me calling carpet stores to look for carpet to put on top of the carpet in the dorm! Granted, the stuff in the room is probably pretty gross, but what’s wrong with a rug??

He’s about at his wits’ end, but he understands that it isn’t about him; this is all about her making sure he has everything he could possibly need and is comfortable.

RILEY GAINES SAYS WNBA IS ‘HELLBENT’ ON BEING AN ACTIVIST ORGANIZATION OVER A BASKETBALL LEAGUE

This is very out of character for her, but it’s her baby boy. She got him into running (XC, 24-hour relays, marathons, etc) and they’ve really had some good/bonding times with it the last few years.

It’s going to be a rough August….

– Travel Ball Hardo Chris B. in Houston said on Facebook: 800 is not a surprising number. mattress pad, sheets, pillows, comforter, lamp(s), decorations, mini frig?, misc supplies, etc. it adds up faaaaast.

Kinsey: Decorations? Sheets are like $20 on Amazon and they’re going to puke on the sheets anyway.

– Hardo: I’m not suggesting you bid on the Mona Lisa, but they are gonna wanna hang stuff on the walls. Moving away can be hard. They need to make it their home.

– Diesel added: Dorm rooms should be decorated with finished cases of Busch light lol

Kinsey: Thank you for saying it, Diesel. Look, I get it for those of you with daughters. But, spending a bunch of money on decorations for your son’s dorm room, if that’s happening, is nuts. What happened to buying weed posters at Spencer’s at the mall and calling the room decorated?

The more I think about it, the more into focus it’s becoming why our college students are coming out of school feeling entitled to jobs with high salaries, great time off and the theory they should be able to afford a 10-year-old 2,500 sq. ft. house with four bedrooms on a half-acre lot with great trees.

They aren’t being told to go get a job to buy their own decorations. Yes, I will buy you sheets that you’ll puke on, but you’ll have to come up with your own At Home budget for 40 fuzzy pillows so your bed looks cool on Instagram.

It’s time to put our foot down, America.

Mailbag: WNBA collapse & Kuechly

– Jake C. asks: Do you think the WNBA ends up collapsing sooner rather than later? The vast majority do not want politics in sports at all, let alone 24/7, yet this league keeps doubling down.

Kinsey: Later. As someone in my position, I don’t want the Dubya to collapse. It’s a content machine. Did you see the latest from Angel Reese where she claims there weren’t dolls to play with when she was a kid because they were all white dolls? That’s the continous nonsense these idiots provide to a website like OutKick. Honestly, our job has never been easier. 5-10 years ago, summers were horrible for content.

Our July numbers were through the roof. On Facebook, we just had 45.5 million views during the month and much of that was thanks to these woke idiots. Let them double, triple and quadruple down. We’ll keep battling them. There’s literally nobody else on this battlefield. It’s OutKick vs. the WNBA.

– Mark T. in Florida says: Not a follower of the WNBA but you can’t help put notice how they are not a serious league but a political activist association trying to disguise as sport. The Commissioner needs firing and a host of league personnel and officials should be out of a job as well. From media credentials being denied to in arena posters trying to be banned, coaches wearing activist clothing on the sidelines and officials showing complete bias; ghosting interviews that possibly could ask uncomfortable questions its hard to believe people are wasting money on a garbage product.

The games aren’t even the show now, its the nonsense in around and off the court that’s taken the spotlight. They are what they are; a non-serious activist association.

Kinsey: Mark gets it. Name another outlet that’s willing to take on these activists. ESPN? The Athletic? LOLOLOLOLOL.

– Mark in SC emails: Opinion—I just looked up Lawrence Taylor stats & accordingly it appears Luke had 4 more solo tackles than Taylor.

Not a huge Panther fan yet I respect all the players as they keep trying to overcome their QB issues as Young is to small & the number of times he’s been sacked shows it. I think Tepper needs an outsider to teach him how to build a good team.

Keep up your great work !

Kinsey: At just 35 years old, Kuechly goes into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this week.

The Grand American Trapshoot

– Pat H. in Stonington, CT couldn’t believe his eyes when he read Monday Screencaps: Oh my God, I remember the GA! Plenty of my friends worked there loading clays; nothing like working in a box in the middle of August, with the sun beating down on a barren landscape, just make gas money and some Friday night jingle.

I went to the GA a few times, just marveling at the exquisite Krieghoff and Perazzi shotguns that actually cost a purported $100,000, and being tossed around in the back of a Range Rover, because the gun was actually free to the owner! I couldn’t wrap my teenage head around that, any more than I could comprehend using the airport as the backstop to thousands of pellets hurtled in the general direction!

I grew up in Englewood, OH. Joined the Navy in ‘86, and never looked back. Thanks for the memory jolt!

And, finally this morning, let’s remember why we vote, why we battle the WNBA and why we shouldn’t let our colleges indoctrinate our kids

Guys, I promise it’s OK to tell your sons you’ve cut their dorm decorating budget. And it’s time for you to send this column to your wives so they stop blowing through money that can eventually be spent on a house down payment for your kids.
