NFL Vice President of Officiating Ramon George issued the discipline.
The suspension for Seeman stemmed from an exchange late in the fourth quarter of the Arizona Cardinals’ game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
Cardinals tight end Trey McBride voiced frustration over an unflagged contact play on third down.
Broadcast cameras captured Seeman turning toward McBride and directing profanity at him.

McBride backed away, noticed a nearby broadcast camera, and pointed directly at the lens to signal the interaction was captured live.
Posted on Sunday, NFL Players Association Executive Director JC Tretter shared on social media:
“This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable. Players are consistently held accountable when the roles are reversed. We expect the NFL to hold officials to the same standard.”

The second suspension involved referee Adrian Hill during the matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings.
During a live play, Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon blocked Vikings’ linebacker Eric Wilson into Hill, knocking the referee down. Hill stood up, confronted Wilson face to face, and ordered him back to the huddle. Officials threw no flags on the play.

Following the game, Wilson downplayed the interaction. “That was funny, honestly,” Wilson said after the win. “I ended up apologizing to him and explained the situation. He was cool about it. He understood what was going on. He just said he didn’t want us fighting, me and [Gordon]. He said he was just trying to break us up.”

The league usually hides these blunders behind closed doors and quiet internal grading-system tweaks. Not this time.
Both Seeman and Hill will sit out immediately without pay before getting back on the field.
