Jerry Jones had a little extra pep in his step on Sunday as he met with reporters following the Dallas Cowboys’ 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders.
The billionaire NFL team owner met the media with a “dangerous” warning.

“Nothing more dangerous than an old man with money,” he said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “That’s my quote of the day.”
Ain’t that the truth. One could only wonder if the NFL didn’t have a salary cap and how far Jones would be willing to go to get back to the glory days of winning three Super Bowl titles in four years.
We may never know. But here’s to trying.
The Cowboys looked good after an off performance against the New York Giants in Week 1. Dak Prescott had four touchdown passes in the win and surpassed Tony Romo as the franchise leader in touchdown passes. Prescott has 249 in 11 years with the Cowboys – one more than Romo.

Jones admitted it would have been “hard” to talk to the press if the team started 0-2.
“I really was worried about what it was going to be like if we did end up 0-2,” he said, via the team’s website. “I can’t say that I was a color of strength in my mentality coming into the game because I’ve got a lot of respect for the coaching over on the Washington Commanders side.
“Having said all of that, this was a very important win for us, important to these guys who put the work in, the coaching staff, for Brian (Schottenheimer), and I’m really proud of them.”
Dallas will head to Brazil on Sunday for a Week 3 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
