Three Questions for NFL Sunday
Does Lamar Jackson play in Buffalo? Ravens at Bills (1:00 p.m. ET, CBS) is the game of the week if Jackson is cleared. He’s questionable, and the line has crept past the field goal while Baltimore waits. Buffalo is fresh off a bye with an offense that’s scored 23 touchdowns, second-most in the league, and the 53.5 total is the highest of the early slate.
Can the Vikings stay perfect? Minnesota is 6-0 and still a road underdog at Detroit (1:00 p.m. ET, FOX). The Vikings have covered every road game this year. The Lions are 1-4-1 against the spread and winless ATS at Ford Field, but they’ve gone over the total in five of six games, while Minnesota’s games have gone under in five of six.
Who stops the bleeding on Sunday night? Eagles at Commanders (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC) features two teams with three wins combined. Philadelphia has lost five straight, is 1-6 ATS and is on a short week after getting beat 38-21 by Dallas on Monday night. Saquon Barkley is questionable. Washington is 1-4-1, but it’s rested off a bye and favored at home.
