Watson, 28, has left the Chiefs through the free agency due to the expiration of his contract.

But has not gone without a team as he has moved to the Texans on a one-year deal.

It emerged that he had sealed the move on the first day of legal tampering before free agency officially started.

The Texans will be boosted to have captured a veteran pass catcher who excelled playing with Mahomes.

Despite being a pro for just seven years, Watson is a three-time Super Bowl champion.

His first ring came in the 2020 season, two years after being selected as a fifth round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was in this spell that he played with the legendary quarterback Brady who also joined the Buccaneers after leaving the New England Patriots.

Watson then won two Super Bowl rings with Mahomes as his quarterback with the Chiefs.

He joined the Kansas-based team as a free agent in the 2022 season on a one-year deal.

The Buccaneers had cut him due to a knee injury that required surgery.
