The Mariners have not lived up to expectations this season, but one guy who has been strong for them this year is Logan Gilbert, who toes the rubber for them tonight. Gilbert is 24th in baseball with a 3.72 ERA and 10th with a 1.05 WHIP. However, he has a 2.70 road ERA, pitching better away from home than he has in Seattle. He has allowed 27 homers this season, but just three of them have come when donning the road grays. He has not faced the Angels this season, but he has held their lineup to just seven hits in 36 at-bats over his career.
