Now they have DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks hauling in passes for them. What’s interesting about the Eagles is that they have 57 rushes for the season and 62 pass attempts.
Traditionally, the Eagles are a run-first team, but they seem to have made a concerted effort to get the ball in the air. Dallas Goedert, their tight end, has been a bit of a safety blanket for Jalen Hurts this season. He is out for tonight’s game, but they brought in Zach Ertz, who was a longtime Eagle.
The Chicago Bears have struggled to find a reliable quarterback for years. They drafted Caleb Williams, and it looked like everything was going to be fine.
