Chris Gotterup will represent the United States for the first time in his career at the end of September, and to celebrate the occasion, he shared an all-time video montage that screams red, white, and blue.
Gotterup was among the six captains’ picks that U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker announced on Tuesday evening ahead of what will be the 16th edition of the Presidents Cup that will take place at Medinah Country Club outside of Chicago.
The 27-year-old earned three victories on the PGA Tour in 2026, something only three other players on the circuit accomplished, and picked up another pair of Top 5 finishes as well.

Gotterup’s resume led him to finish seventh in the Team USA standings, with the Top Six players earning automatic spots. Despite the fact that the New Jersey native was the next-man-up and a virtual lock to have his name called, he still showed appreciation for the opportunity as any American would: with an electric video showing off American culture.

Gotterup is one of three players on the Team USA roster who will be making their debuts in the event, as Jacob Bridgeman and Jackson Koivun were also selected by Snedeker. The International side, captained by Geoff Ogilvy, will also feature three debutants, with Ryo Hisatsune of Japan, Nick Taylor of Canada, and Nico Echavarria of Colombia on the other side.

The American side is the heavy favorite heading into the event set to begin on September 24, and looking to win the competition for the 11th straight time. The International side’s lone win in the event came in 1998, and the two sides tied in 2003 in South Africa when Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player captained their respective sides.
