Travis Kelce named victim in multi-million-dollar Ponzi scheme
A multi-million-dollar Ponzi scheme lists Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as a victim. Investment manager Siddharth Jawahar faces an 11-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to three counts of wire fraud. Prosecutors reveal Jawahar swindled victims out of more than $35 million through Swift Art Capital LLC, using new investor money to fund an extravagant lifestyle of private jets and luxury hotels.
Former NFL star Antonio Brown accepted “an offer he couldn’t refuse” plea deal Wednesday from Miami-Dade County prosecutors and he will no longer face a second-degree murder charge nor the possible 30-year prison sentence it carries, according to his attorney.
Brown’s attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, said in a statement the plea deal offered by prosecutors will “dramatically reduce the criminal charge against him and result in probation rather than a prison sentence.”
Brown was facing a minimum 20-year sentence that could have topped out at 30 years, depending on sentencing, if convicted on initial charges stemming from a May 16, 2025 shooting outside a celebrity boxing event in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood.

Prosecutors alleged Brown fought with Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, took a gun from a security guard and fired two shots while pursuing him. Nantambu told investigators that one bullet grazed his neck.
Brown left the country.
But he was arrested on charges related to the case by U.S. Marshals in Dubai in November 2025, extradited back to Florida, and eventually pleaded not guilty. He was released on $25,000 bond and forced to wear a GPS monitor.
Brown pleaded not guilty to the charges. Eiglarsh maintained Brown acted in self-defense and pursued dismissal under Florida’s “stand your ground” law.

The plea agreement the prosecution offered no doubt has something to do with the fact Nantambu’s attorney said this month that his client had forgiven Brown and no longer wanted to participate in the prosecution.
And while prosecutors could have conceivably decided to move forward with their case, using video and other witness accounts, that obviously was not the path they chose.
“He is not accepting this agreement because he suddenly agrees with the State’s allegations,” Eiglarsh said. “He is accepting it because the State made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
