Everyone has a doppelganger somewhere in the world, but not everyone is fortunate enough to discover who they are. Even fewer people have a celebrity lookalike.
However, one woman’s social media presence has exploded since the release of Bridgerton season three, because of her resemblance to a hilarious character.
Hailey Scott, known online as @haileyscott77, is a fashion and travel blogger for her site Queen Bee. She is renowned for sharing ‘chaotic’ videos about her life including responses to smitten Netflix fans.
The red-haired influencer recently left fans gobsmacked with her striking resemblance to Philipa Finch, formerly Featherington, portrayed by Harriet Cains. The character is the middle child of the Featherington family and married Albion Finch, a cheese-loving man she met at a ball in Season 1.
However, Hailey seemed to take the comparison in stride, filming a video lip-syncing to a viral clip from the latest season, which had fans in fits of laughter. The soundbite comes from a scene in Season 3 part 1, where the Featherington sisters are competing to produce an heir to the estate.
However, naive Phillipa didn’t know much about the ‘birds and the bees’, despite claiming she had ‘laid with her husband several times’. Her mother, Lady Portia Featherington (Polly Walker), was trying to explain it, beginning with: “When he… inserts himself…”
Phillipa’s lookalike left TikTok users gobsmacked when she lip-synced to a clip from the show, amassing over 404,000 likes. The viral moment came as she responded to a comment that read: “You look so much like Phillipa Featherington! You’re so pretty.”
Despite the flurry of compliments, she humbly remarked in her post’s caption: “I don’t see it but Phillipa is a baddie so I’ll take it.”
The resemblance didn’t go unnoticed, with TikTok fans quick to declare them “twins.”
One user exclaimed: “It’s the fact I just finished the season minutes ago and I was thinking how gorg she is and then her own twin shows up on my feed,” while another echoed: “This is literally insane guys we found a real doppelganger.”
Another fan admitted: “I didn’t see it until you spoke and you looked exactly like her!” A fourth fan even theorised she could be the elusive fourth Featherington sister, not seen on-screen but present in the novels, commenting excitedly: “FELICITY FEATHERINGTON?!”
