Wolves keeper Jose Sa surges into crowd to confront own fan as Bournemouth game turns sour

Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa appeared to confront an angry home fan at Molineux during half-time while his side were losing to Bournemouth.

As the whistle blew for the end of the opening 45 minutes, Wolves trailed 3-1, with one supporter in particular seeming to take issue with Sa’s inability to keep the visitors at bay.

The Portuguese stopper went to collect his water bottle to take off the pitch and into the dressing room, only to spot the fan and walk towards them, stopping in front of security and before arguing back.

He was kept back by stewards after protesting his first-half performance, before the fan was escorted out of the stadium to cheer by his fellow Wolves faithful.

There was a loud applause for Sa as he walked back onto the pitch as he put up an apologetic wave to the South Bank.
