Why Man Utd star Paul Pogba is considering Juventus switch amid Real Madrid interest

Pogba left Juventus to return to Old Trafford in 2016 though has rarely hit the heights expected of him.

The World Cup winning midfielder has now been linked with a second departure from Manchester United.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has made no attempt to hide his like of Pogba while Juve have been linked with a deal.

And the Independent now claim Pogba is open to a third switch between the Red Devils and the Old Lady due to United’s struggles.

Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

It’s claimed that one of the reasons Pogba moved back to United three years ago was because he felt they were on the brink of a title challenge.

But United haven’t come close to challenging for the title since the Frenchman has been back at the club.

Pogba has struggled under Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and former United player Paul Ince believes he needs to leave Old Trafford if he wants to improve.

“People will talk about Paul Pogba and say he should’ve done more,” he recently said.

“But, there’s only so much he can do when he’s surrounded by the kind of players he is.

“If he was surrounded by class players, you’d get to see the real Pogba.

“I was fortunate enough to play with the likes of Bryan Robson, Roy Keane and Eric Cantona – world class players – and they make everyone play better.

“United can’t just rely on Pogba and expect that he will do everything, people have to pull their weight and be great around him.

“Pogba needs and deserves to be in a team full of top players, and I don’t believe that’s Man United at the minute.

“When they’re in the Champions League you realise that a lot of their players just aren’t good enough.”
