Last year’s Kentucky Derby made history with a record-breaking $5million purse.
And the prize money for the 151st edition of the “Run for the Roses” will remain at the mammoth $5million.
Here is a full breakdown of the purse:
- 1st – $3.1million
- 2nd – $1million
- 3rd – $500,000
- 4th – $250,000
- 5th – $150,000
