And one food fan, called Jess, has revealed the menu item everyone should try – and it’s probably not what you’d expect.
She took to social media to show off her plate – and it turns out she’s not the only one who swears by the little-known dish.
“Guys, the Spoons Korean Chicken Bowl has changed my life. Please try it,”
According to Wetherspoons, the meal is made from chicken strips, chicken breast bites and chips, which are then all tossed in a Korean-style sauce and topped with coriander and sliced chillies.
And whilst it might not be the first thing you think of when you think of classic Wetherspoons food, it turns out Jess isn’t the only foodie who loves the spicy menu option.
After sharing her love of the grub on TikTok, Jess’ video quickly went viral and currently has over 450K views.
One Spoons fan commented on the clip: “I had this on a girls night out the other days and I honestly could’ve sat there eating it all night.”
A second agreed the Korean bowl is a must-try: “It’s banging, I’d add some spring onion if I could.”
And a third chimed in: “I work in Spoons and love the Korean Bowl, the only reason I don’t eat it on shift is because you smell like garlic for the rest of the day.”
Another even wrote: “It’s my favourite meal in the entire world.”
And when one TikTok user wasn’t sure if it would be to their taste, Jess explained: “It’s a sweet Korean style, sort of like gochujang with the tiniest bit of spice, and the chips get fully coated in the sauce so they’re almost soggy in the best way.
“And they use the chicken bites and cut the tenders into bites as well. I avoid the chillies but 100% recommend.”
The menu item isn’t the only dish foodies have been raving about though, as one Spoons worker previously revealed how she made her own dream meal.
Macey Newberry took to social media, to share how she created her own DIY kebab by ordering a few menu staples.
In the viral video, Macey explained that although the dish isn’t technically on the menu, punters can still order it if they ask for some very specific things.
“Since working at Spoons this has been my favourite creation so far,” she said.
The kebab consisted of chicken strips, roasted vegetables, salad and a naan bread – all things you might not order on their own but when put together make a tasty and filling meal.
“Honestly, now that I’ve eaten everything on the Wetherspoons menu as you can imagine I do get a bit bored of the food now and again, but not to worry.
“When you’re creative like me and love food, you come up with stuff like this,” she said in the clip.
So, how exactly can you order Macey’s Spoons kebab on your next visit to the bargain boozer?
How can I save money at Wetherspoons?

FREE refills – Buy a £1.50 tea, coffee or hot chocolate and you can get free refills. The deal is available all day, every day.
Check a map – Prices can vary from one location the next, even those close to each other.
So if you’re planning a pint at a Spoons, it’s worth popping in nearby pubs to see if you’re settling in at the cheapest.
Choose your day – Each night the pub chain runs certain food theme nights.
For instance, every Thursday night is curry club, where diners can get a main meal and a drink for a set price cheaper than usual.
Pick-up vouchers – Students can often pick up voucher books in their local near universities, which offer discounts on food and drink, so keep your eyes peeled.
Get appy – The Wetherspoons app allows you to order and pay for your drink and food from your table – but you don’t need to be in the pub to use it.
Taking full advantage of this, cheeky customers have used social media to ask their friends and family to order them drinks. The app is free to download on the App Store or Google Play.
Check the date – Every year, Spoons holds its Tax Equality Day to highlight the benefits of a permanently reduced tax bill for the pub industry.
It usually takes place in September, and last year it fell on Thursday, September 14.
As well as its 12-day Real Ale Festival every Autumn, Wetherspoons also holds a Spring Festival.
Macey told her followers to simply order three chicken strips, a Mediterranean salad and a naan bread, then add the roasted veg if you want to get some more greens in.
You can ask for it to come on the same plate, but depending on the pub you might have to stack up the kebab yourself.
Macey enjoyed her creation and even said it was one of the best things she’s ever had the pleasure of eating there – so it’s definitely worth trying it out.
Fellow foodies were impressed with the kebab creation and couldn’t wait to try it out for themselves.
“Now that looks good, even with the mustard,” one Spoons fan commented on the clip.
A second agreed: “I have to try this ASAP.”
