Ukraine has launched air attacks on Russia while Vladimir Putin celebrates his country’s annual Victoria Day Parade.
The bombing occurred in the western city of Belgorod where officials claimed at least eight people had been injured in the strikes.
Writing on Telegram, Belgorod region Governor Vyachelsav Gladkov said: “The city of Belgorod and the Belgorod district came under an air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. There were direct hits on residential apartment buildings and cars.”
He added: “According to preliminary information, eight people were injured: seven adults and one child.”
In addition, there were unconfirmed reports of drone strikes on a Gazporam oil refinery in Salavat, Russia.
