He might be sweating now.
Video footage and photos showing a handsy, sweaty Prince Andrew cozying up to gorgeous gal pals on the French Riviera surfaced Sunday, the day after he claimed he didn’t do public displays of affection — or perspire because of an old war condition, according to the Daily Mail.
The bizarre claims are key to Andrew’s stunning new defense against accusations he had sex with one of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s teenage victims, Virginia Giuffre, in 2001.
Giuffre has said she was trafficked to Andrew by his rich late pal and that the pair had sex after the prince was “sweating all over me’’ on a London dance floor.
“I’m afraid to say there’s a medical condition that says I didn’t do it,’’ the 59-year-old divorced prince told the BBC on Saturday, as he continued to deny Giuffre’s claim, adding that he doesn’t even remember ever meeting the then-17-year-old.
The prince said his medical condition came from “an overdose of adrenaline’’ that his body produced during the Falklands War in 1982.
He also suggested that the now-infamous photo of him hugging Guiffre in 2001 was fake, arguing, “I am not one to, um, as it were, hug.
“Public displays of affection are not something that I do.’’
But video and snapshots of the prince in 2007 and 2008 show he had no problem getting up close and personal with beautiful women in public, not to mention down and dirty with sweat while doing so, the Mail said.
In one 2007 photo, American socialite Chris Von Aspen licks Andrew’s face. In another, he appears to have his hand on the butt of Canadian socialite Pascale Bourbeau as she wraps her arm around his neck and they seductively gaze into each other’s eyes.
“These were really crazy years for Andrew,’’ a source familiar with the parties told the Mail.
“He was clearly having a full-blown midlife crisis. He would have been 47 or 48 at the time, divorced from Sarah Ferguson, and basking in the attention he got from young women.
“These were private parties held at mansions, so I guess he felt he could let his guard down.
“Things can get quite loose in Saint-Tropez. There were lots of beautiful young women looking for rich men. People would often go off to the toilets to do drugs or for oral sex,’’ the source said.
“That was the best time to party in Saint-Tropez. Social media hadn’t really taken off, and most people didn’t have cameras on their phone yet, so people could just go and have fun.
“Lots of the girls gravitated towards Andrew. Royalty has that effect on the kind of women who flock to Saint-Tropez.”
The British press ripped the prince over his weekend interview.
“I expected a train wreck,’’ said Charlie Proctor, editor of the Royal Central Web site in Britain. “That was a plane crashing into an oil tanker, causing a tsunami, triggering a nuclear explosion-level bad.”
