In a Fox News interview, host Sean Hannity revealed how the President managed to shed some pounds whilst eating fast food – and it included removing a staple part of the burger.
The host said: “If he has a burger now, he usually doesn’t have it with a bun.”
He added quickly after: “I hope I’m not revealing something I shouldn’t.”
Trump, 78, has a fond affection for fast food and is often regarded as a connoisseur of national favourites such as the Quarter Pounder from McDonald’s.
The President also is known to enjoy his steaks well-done, loves Oreos, and drinks up to a dozen diet cokes per day – which he has a delivery button for on his desk in the Oval Office.

During his Presidential campaign last year, the twice-serving President lost 30 lbs at one point, and even used his favourite fast food chain in a massive PR stunt.
At the height of the election campaign, Trump worked in a McDonald’s location in the fiercely contested state of Pennsylvania, serving up fries and taking orders.
Some election experts hailed the move as genius and a big blow to Democrat candidate Kamala Harris’ Presidential bid.
Speculation swirled that Trump might have been using weight-loss jabs such as Ozempic or Wegovy, but confirmed in a Fox News interview that he had in fact been shedding pounds “the hard way”.
The Don said that he “worked” to lose his weight, and added that while on the campaign trail he was “so busy” that he hadn’t “been able to eat very much”.
He said: “I’m not able to sit down and eat like a person like you – you can sit down and eat. Me, it’s a little bit tougher.”
Trump’s snacks

The U.S. President is known for his love of snacking and eating fast food.
Donald Trump drinks up to a dozen diet cokes a day, and has a button on his Oval Office desk which orders them straight to him.
He is known is to love the Quarter Pounder from McDonald’s – in 2016 he said in an interview with CNN: “The Quarter Pounder. It’s great stuff.”
He also has a distaste for too many vegetables – his former butler confirmed that the President likes his steaks well-done, sometimes with ketchup, and without “garbage” – referring to greens.
Trump has a sweet tooth for snacks like Oreos, vanilla ice cream and cake.
Parties and events at his Mar-a-Lago residency often include lavish dessert stations.
Former Trump aides Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie said a typical Trump dinner consists of two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches and a chocolate malt.
The two aides also joked: “On Trump Force One there were four major food groups, McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke.”
According to the Washington Post, Air Force One’s cupboard were “stocked with Oreos and Vienna Fingers, along with potato chips and pretzels”.
The President does not however drink alcohol, coffee or tea.
In his first term, he shared photos of himself eating fast food such as KFC fried chicken and taco bowls made at Trump Tower Grill – the taco post was captioned: “I love Hispanics!”
First Lady Melania Trump also helped with the Don’s weight loss, as she reportedly encouraged him to stay away from the Mar-a-Lago dessert buffet which offers over two dozen homemade cakes, puddings and tortes.
His personal doc Bruce Aronwald said that the President’s health on the campaign trail was “excellent”, and wrote that Trump “has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, while maintaining a rigorous schedule”.
The doctor did not however reveal Trump’s weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, or any medication that he is on.
In his first term from 2017 to 2021, the Don regularly served fast food at the White House, and even ate it on board Air Force One regularly.
Two of his former aides said in 2017 that a typical dinner for Trump would include two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish sandwiches and a chocolate shake – malted.
At the end of his first term, a medical test found him to be technically obese with elevated blood pressure.
Trump does not drink alcohol or smoke.
