TRAVIS Kelce will have a very different role on the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025.
The 35-year-old tight end confirmed he is coming back for one more season after a disappointing 2024.

His production was down from the lofty numbers he’s hit during an iconic career.
And the season ended with a Super Bowl hammering by the Philadelphia Eagles.
The loss left a bad taste in Kelce’s mouth which he is out to avenge.
And Kelce has been back to have a bigger impact off the field by Chiefs general manager Brett Veach.
“You’ll see Travis have more of an impact,” Veach told the Kansas City Star.
“Maybe it’s not in production but it’s the offense.”
He added, “The numbers won’t be the same.
“I mean, you have to acknowledge a certain aspect of that, right?
“I don’t know if I look at it in terms of expectations for yardage or touchdowns or catches.
“I think that when he’s on the field now, he makes us better.
“And I think that he’s also a guy that makes the people around him better.
“And when you have a guy that’s that connected with a quarterback, it’s almost like a little bit of him and Pat are a conductor for everybody else.”
Kelce has largely kept a low profile since the Super Bowl loss in February.
The tight end recorded the lowest receiving yards total and touchdown total of his career in 2024.
He had 823 yards and three touchdowns in the regular-season.

But Kelce’s motivation to return was winning the team’s Super Bowl crown back.
The Eagles dashed Kansas City’s hopes of a third straight title.
“I f***ing love playing the game of football,” Kelce said when he announced his return
“I still feel like I can play at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year,” he then added.
“I don’t think it was my best outing.
“I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them.”
