The transfer window for Premier League and EFL clubs formally opens on Friday, with clubs finalising plans for their summer business. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have already been linked with huge-money deals.
All four clubs will be keen to topple Manchester City next season after Pep Guardiola’s side secured a record fourth consecutive league title. City themselves will want to stay ahead of the competition and should not be ruled out of a couple of money-spinning transfers.
Aston Villa will bolster their squad ahead of their Champions League campaign, while Newcastle will want to improve after failing to qualify for Europe. We may even see deals take place much earlier this summer, with the PSR cut-off point for the 2023-24 season landing on June 30.
