ONE of the Dallas Cowboys leading 2025 NFL Draft picks is already injured – causing a potential headache for Jerry Jones.
The NFC East team decided to select Shavon Revel as the number 77 pick of the third-round.

The cornerback comes to improve an already impressive-looking defence down in Texas.
However, it has been revealed the 24-year-old is already recovering from a serious knee injury.
According to the Athletics’ Jon Machota, he will start training camp on PUP (Physically unable to perform).
He is then set to come off the list during the summer, and due to be ready for the new season.
The decision to pick the injured star must have caused billionaire owner Jones a headache, but he did not seem fazed by his diagnosis.
The 82-year-old was spotted dancing in the team’s war room after he was selected.
It is not an ideal start for life at the Cowboys for Revel, but there is good news.
Before the 2025 NFL Draft, his doctor Daniel E. Cooper wrote a letter to all 32 teams.
“He is on schedule for full return to play this summer,” Cooper wrote.
“When he reports to an NFL team after the 2025 draft, he will be cleared for all strength and conditioning activities and individual running and cutting drills as a defensive back.
“He will not be cleared for participation with the team until training camp.
“This is routine for the protocol after ACL reconstruction in football.
“Any of your trainers or team physicians can contact me for further discussions as needed.”
Revel was establishing himself as one of the leading stars at East Carolina last season.

He then suffered a serious knee injury, which forced him to miss a chunk of the year.
That did not stop him being considered as one of the leading corners in the draft.
Cowboys fans had mixed opinions on signing a player who was already injured.
“Oh boy a rookie corner with no practice reps being rolled out as a starter does not sound ideal,” one said on X.
“I think I’d try to survive with Elam and Carson.”
Another said: “Do not rush him we do not want another Gallup situation!”
And one replied: “Not an ideal situation.”
A fourth commented: “This is the steal of the NFL Draft.”
