Three people killed by early-morning fire in Queens home

Three people were killed by a fire that ripped through a Queens home early Sunday, officials said.

The blaze broke out in a house on 208th St. near 33rd Ave. in Bayside about 2:40 a.m. When first responders arrived, they found a 56-year-old man dead at the scene and two people mortally injured, officials said.

Medics rushed a 54-year-old woman to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens and a 90-year-old woman to Flushing Hospital but neither could be saved, cops said. Police have not yet released the victims’ names.

About 106 firefighters from 25 FDNY units battled the blaze until bringing it under control about 4:10 a.m., officials said.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
