This week's free Xbox game giveaway is a must-play for England fans

Microsoft’s Free Play Days promotion gives Xbox users the chance to play some of the biggest games for free for a limited time. And this week is no different, as Xbox fans are given free access to a grand total of four games, all with something of a sporty feel. Available to play for free from now until 7.59am BST UK time on July 14, Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers can play wrestling game AEW Fight Forever and Ubisoft racing game The Crew Motorfest. Meanwhile, baseball game MLB The Show 24 is also free for the weekend, and you don’t even need a Game Pass subscription to take advantage. Perhaps best of all, however, is that EA Sports FC 24 is free for Core members until July 16, and just in time for the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.

Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers can access the entire EA Sports FC 24 experience, including the recently released Euro 2024 game mode.

The official Euro 2024 mode features authentic and up-to-date teams, international kits and match balls, as well as newly recorded commentary.

In addition to playing through the tournament with the qualified teams and official groups, fans can also take other nations through the qualification process and into the competition itself.

This means you get the chance to rewrite history, although England fans will be hoping this isn’t necessary after the full-time whistle blows on Sunday evening.

If you want to purchase the game in full after the trial period comes to an end, EA Sports FC 24 can be picked up for the discounted price of £13.99.

The Ultimate Edition is available for £39.99, which may sound like a lot, but actually represents a saving of £60 on the original £99.99 asking price.

AEW Fight Forever and MLB The Show 24 are also available at discounted prices for the next few days.

Featuring a roster of more than 50 wrestlers, AEW Fight Forever is reduced to just £13.20. MLB The Show 24, on the other hand, is down to £24.99.

Sadly the same can’t be said for The Crew Motorfest, which will currently cost you at least £69.99.

The Ubisoft racing game appears to have taken a leaf out of the Forza Horizon playbook, featuring a festival setting on the island of O’ahu.

The stunning island is jam-packed with different races and challenges to complete, from off-road endurance races to classic street racing.
