The world's first luxury hypertower that's 1820ft-tall with flats priced at over £100m

A luxury tower block boasting an exquisite diamond crown is soon to become the latest addition to Dubai’s stunning collection of skyscrapers.

The Burj Binghatti will soar 555 metres (1820ft) above the city and have more than 110 floors.

The building project represents a collaboration between the top-tier UAE property company Binghatti and Jacob & Co, a renowned name in luxury jewellery.

At its launch in November 2022, the huge building was described as the “world’s first hypertower”.

In a statement, Binghatti said: “This unparalleled skyscraper aims to set a record as one of the tallest residential constructions in the world.”

Muhammad Binghatti, CEO and head of Architecture of Binghatti, added: “Today marks the significant partnership of two like-minded brands, both on an ever-striving pursuit of absolute elegance.

“Both our brands are born from the sheer desire to achieve what breaks boundaries.”

The skyscraper will be built in Business Bay – the wealthiest district in Dubai – on a plot of land that was previously intended for a mixed-use building with 44 floors under the name Renaissance Tower.

The tower will be crowned with a dazzling and eye-catching gem stone lattice, one of many of its original design features.

Jacob & Co have drawn up interior design plans for each apartment in the tower block, including the penthouses.

The penthouses will be named after some of their famous watch collections – such as Billionaire, Astronomia and Fleur de Jardin.

The company is renowned for its much coveted wrist watches, worn by celebrities such as Elton John, 50 Cent and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Apartments will not come cheap, with prices for standard ones starting at around US$2 million (£1.64m) and climbing to over US$200m (£164m) for the penthouse suites.

Most will boast stunning views of Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Canal.

The hypertower will also house a dedicated concierge team, offering à la carte services such as daycare, bodyguards, chauffeurs and private chefs.

At the moment, Princess Tower in Dubai Marina is the tallest residential building in the city.

Completed in 2012, it is a 101-storey residential tower that is 413m tall.
