United paid the Gunners “substantial compensation” to bring the teenager to Old Trafford.
Heaven looked assured in possession and impressed boss Ruben Amorim during Thursday’s 4-1 win over Real Sociedad.
He was rewarded with a starting berth for the trip to Leicester on Sunday night.
But things unravelled for the wonderkid after a coming-together with Patson Daka.
Heaven appeared to roll his ankle and had to be stretched from the field by medical staff.
One disappointed fan wrote on X: “That is heartbreaking to see.”
Another said: “Devastated for Ayden Heaven. Can’t help but keep thinking if he’s gonna come back the same.”
