A year ago today, Taylor Swift made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium where the world saw her with NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce for the first time.
After the game, the couple was spotted leaving the locker room together before celebrating the Chiefs’ win at an afterparty. It’s now officially been 12 months since the pair went public. Since then, Swift has attended a total of 15 games in support of Kelce, including the Super Bowl, where the Kansas City NFL team took home the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Sunday night however, had fans concerned after the “Karma” singer was absent from the stands, losing her perfect attendance streak for the season.
The “Fortnight” artist instead spent her weekend in New York City hanging out with her BFF Gigi Hadid. The duo had dinner at The Corner Store in SoHo. Nonetheless, Swifties and football fans alike are celebratory about the anniversary of the lovebirds’ soft launch.
One X user wrote: “”HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF TAYLOR BREAKING THE INTERNET & SHAKING UP THE NFL #tayvis #TaylorSwift #TravisKelce.”
“HISTORY WAS MADE,” another fan gushed.
Swift is currently enjoying her time off until she resumes her Eras Tour when the final North American leg begins on October 18 in Miami.
