TARGET appears to have rolled out a fresh policy impacting shoppers who want to buy a particular playing card game.
Managers have warned customers of the rules by putting up signs in stores.

Pokemon chiefs have released more cards as part of its Celestial Guardians expansion and the products have sparked demand among shoppers.
But, the enthusiasm surrounding the trading cards have left shoppers disappointed.
This is because they’ve been unable to get their hands on the product.
One shopper, known as Eran, said his son had “dragged him” to his local Target to buy some packs, but the shelves were empty, according to an X thread.
A sign had been stuck to the shelf that said: “Limit 2 per person per item.”
Shoppers had been calling for Target bosses to impose a limit on the number of cards.
A customer, known only as Charlie, claimed shoppers were “standing around” waiting for shelves to be restocked.
“Target really needs to put a limit on how many cards people can buy at all stores, not just some,” he wrote on X.
“Makes it so much harder for casuals to just rip packs for fun.”
Shoppers urged retail bosses to aggressively crack down on scalpers.
“Should be 2 or 3 limit per person no holds,” one suggested.
Scalpers tend to buy packs of cards and sell them for more than face value because they know the demand is high.
Some shoppers have pointed out that their local Target limited shoppers to five packs, while others restricted them to three.
The item limits have caused a flurry of discussion online.
Shoppers have even shared ways that they tried to skirt around the item restriction.
Some claimed that shoppers should use self-checkout if they’re able to pick up more than the allowed packs of cards.
Target is not the only retailer that is imposing limits on certain items.
BAG LIMITS
The U.S. Sun reported how Trader Joe’s bosses were limiting customers to the number of tote bags available.
Chiefs took action as demand for the viral product surged.
The New York Times reported how extra security was needed in light of the demand.
Lines of 150 shoppers reportedly formed outside stores hours before they were meant to open.
Bags flew off the shelves, selling out within 15 minutes on some occasions.
Retailers across the US imposed limits earlier this year in response to a nationwide egg shortage.
Aldi and Trader Joe’s were among the companies that imposed restrictions.
Shoppers were limited to two cartons at Aldi stores, prompting the retailer to issue an apology.
