A man is being questioned in the brutal Brooklyn stabbing deaths of his girlfriend and a 91-year-old man — after telling the woman who found the bodies, “You know what happened,” a police source said Monday.
The 46-year-old person of interest is in police custody for questioning but has not been charged. He has three prior arrests on his record, the police source said.
The victims, Roosevelt Simmons and 66-year-old Jacqueline “Jackie” Delyons, were found dead with their necks slashed inside the Cypress Hills house on Warwick St. near Arlington Ave.
Their bodies were found on the kitchen floor about 3:45 p.m. Sunday by a 61-year-old woman who stopped by for a visit.
After making the shocking discover, the visitor encountered the person of interest, who also lives in the house, in the hallway and asked him what happened.
“You know what happened,” he chillingly told her, according to the source.
