Strictly Come Dancing will be returning later this year and speculation over which celebrities will be taking to the dance floor has already begun.
The celebrity line-up will be kept under wraps for a few more months but there is one name that will not be a surprise if the rumours are to be believed.
Ladbrokes have cut odds on Harry Redknapp joining the Strictly Come Dancing line-up from 3/1 to just 5/4.
With the I’m a Celebrity winner having odds of 3/1 only last month it looks like the former football manager is emerging as the bookies favourite.
Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati said: “Harry’s clearly high on Strictly chiefs’ wanted list and the odds are continuing to tumble on the King of the Jungle taking to the dance floor.”
Harry who was crowned King of the Jungle recently revealed that he turned down the BBC show in favour of heading Down Under.
He told the MailOnline: “I told Jamie [Redknapp] I was thinking of doing [Strictly] and I don’t think he was pleased about it. And so I was offered the jungle at the same time and chose to do that.”
But Harry decided to keep the I’m a Celeb offer a secret as he was worried Jamie wouldn’t approve of that either.
Will it be second time lucky for Strictly producers if they do try and sign him up for the new series?
If Harry does sign up for the show he will be following in the footsteps of his former daughter-in-law Louise, who was partnered with Kevin Clifton in 2016.
Speculation over this year’s Strictly stars continues to grow but there is one star who definitely won’t be joining the line-up.
This Morning presenter Rylan Clark-Neal revealed that he wouldn’t take to the dance floor because he enjoys presenting too much.
Despite having a background in reality TV, Rylan would now rather stick to hosting than taking part but is still a big supporter of reality shows.
When the show returns later on this year, judge Darcey Bussell will not be returning to the panel.
Since the news of her leaving was revealed fans were quick to speculate the reasons why she decided to leave.
ITV Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley took a swipe at current judge Shirley Ballas as he interviewed former professional dancer on the show Kristina Rihanoff.
He said: “Shirley Ballas can be a bit tricky. So she’s going to have to fit in with the personality of the other judges isn’t she?”
But Kristina refused to comment on Shirley’s personality and instead praised Darcey.
“Darcey had an overwhelming personality,” she said. “But she was very very kind and true to herself.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
