Smith has had an on-and-off relationship with the long-running soap, making almost 50 cameos on the show over the years, starting back in 2007.
And the 57-year-old returned to screens again, reprising his character of “Brick” in the latest season of the show.
Smith gave his First Take co-hosts Ryan Clark, Louis Riddick, and Chris Russo a glimpse at his latest efforts – leaving all three of them cracking up.
The clip showed Smith shooting a nurse in a bizarre scene that involved an assassin, his boss and two guns.
After bellowing with laughter, Riddick joked: “How many times did you rehearse that?”
While Clark teased: “This dude, bro, acting, First Take, producing. He’s gonna be our next president. A lot going on.”
The former Pittsburg Steeler was joking about Smith’s presidential credentials after President Donald Trump suggested that the TV personality would make a great leader.
Speaking on NewsNation, Trump said: “No, Stephen A.’s a good guy, he’s a smart guy.
“I love watching him. He’s got great entertainment skills, which is very important. People watch him.
“You know, a lot of these Democrats I watch, I say they have no chance.
“I’ve been pretty good at picking people and picking candidates.
“And I will tell you, I’d love to see him run.”
