Smith plays a furious sports agent that pulls a player into a meeting to demand he cuts down his large entourage.
He is then killed in Central Park after being stabbed twice as cops unravel who is responsible.
Fans were impressed by his acting talents, with one saying: “Actually, he killed that role.”
Another added: “He got a career in acting that was a masterclass.”
A third wrote: “Stephen A stays doing side quests.”
Smith was initially approached to be a lawyer on the show but took the lesser role as he was unable to be on set for the days required due to his busy schedule.
But on his cameo, Smith told the New York Post: “It was crazy to say the least.
“From the standpoint of knowing who [sports agents] are and how they can be as professionals, I get that because I’ve been in sports journalism for over 30 years, so in that regard, that’s fine.
“But it’s still a challenge when you have to go in front of the cameras on a set and act the role and step out of character and be something that you’re not.”
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal that Smith is considering two “dream” $6million film offers as he hopes to launch his Hollywood career.
The First Take star has even taken classes ahead of his venture into the world of acting.
But a politics move remains on the table and he admitted to having “no choice” but to consider running to be the new leader of the Democrats.
President Donald Trump endorsed him, saying: “Stephen A.’s a good guy, he’s a smart guy.
“I love watching him. He’s got great entertainment skills, which is very important. People watch him.
“You know, a lot of these Democrats I watch, I say they have no chance.
“I’ve been pretty good at picking people and picking candidates.
“And I will tell you, I’d love to see him run.”
