A 52-year-old man stabbed in the back on a Brooklyn street drove himself to a nearby hospital before succumbing to his injuries early Friday morning, cops said.
Cops were hunting for the stabber.
The victim was found wounded outside Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center near the corner of Rockaway Parkway and Brookdale Plaza in East Flatbush at about 6:15 a.m.
It was not immediately disclosed exactly where he was attacked, cops said.
The critically injured victim managed to drive himself to the hospital, where he asked for medical aid.
The man died a short time later, cops said. His name was not publicly disclosed as cops search to notify his relatives first.
Doctors who examined him found two fatal puncture wounds to his back, police said.
The victim’s car was still parked outside the hospital Friday. The vehicle was cordoned off by detectives as they continue their investigation, including scouring the area for surveillance footage that could help identify the killer.
No arrests have been made.
