The pair, who have played sisters Sansa Stark and Arya Stark since the HBO fantasy drama first aired in 2011, are best friends off-screen too and looked to be having fun at the star-studded event earlier this evening. Game of Thrones actresses Sophie Turner, 23, and Maisie Williams, 21, were seen holding hands as they posed for photographers together. The former appeared to say something which tickled her co-star Maisie, who burst into giggled, covering her mouth as she turned away from the cameras. Sophie was also snapped laughing with her as they tried to compose themselves.
The actress, who plays Sansa in Game of Thrones, stunned in a sophisticated white gown which featured cape-style sleeves and metallic detailing.
The floor-length number also boasted a perilously high thigh split which flashed a glimpse of her slender pins.
She paired the ensemble with silver stilettos and dangling earrings, wearing her blonde tresses in a sleek down ‘do for the occasion.
She opted for a Hollywood glam make-up look, with lashings of mascara, a sweep of blusher across the apples of her cheeks and a slick of bold red lipstick.
Maisie, meanwhile, chose a whimsical blush coloured dress with silver bead detailing.
She showcased her décolletage in the plunging number, which fell in a gentle A-line to her ankles.
The Arya actress wore her pink locks in tousled curls which fell loose around her shoulders.
Maisie’s pretty features were accentuated with subtly gothic make-up consisting of heavy smokey eyes with kohl liner and deep pink lipstick.
She completed the outfit with a silver handbag, a shocker and a delicate metal headband as she joined Sophie and their co-stars at the event.
In addition to the two Stark sisters, Jon Snow actor Kit Harington, 32, and Bran Stark star Isaac Hempstead-Wright, 20, were also in attendance.
All four of them posed on the red carpet together, with Kit looking dapper in black trousers and a blazer over a camel top.
Isaac, meanwhile, opted for a stylish all-black ensemble.
Elsewhere, Sophie and Maisie’s committed friendship was evidenced when the former confirmed her co-star would be her maid of honour.
The blonde beauty is set to marry her fiancé Joe Jonas, 29, this summer, recently telling ET: “[Maisie is] my maid of honour! One of two.”
She also said she had already picked out Maisie’s outfit for the big day.
After Maisie told the publication she was trying to select a dress, Sophie said: “I don’t know why she’s thinking about [what she’s wearing], I’m giving her the bridesmaid dress!”
Game of Thrones season 8 will air in the US on HBO on Sunday, April 14 and in the UK on Sky Atlantic on Monday, April 15.
