Bounty Wafer Rolls, which are usually hard to find in UK supermarkets, are being sold at a massive discount on bargain site Discount Dragon.

Shoppers can bag a box of 12 Bounty Wafer Rolls – which are crispy chocolate-covered coconut – for just £4.99.

You will also need to factor in an additional £4.99 delivery charge unless your order reaches over £30.

The sweet deal was first spotted by an eagle-eyed bargain hunter on HotUKDeals.

The Bounty Wafer Roll is a rare twist on the classic Bounty bar, combining a light wafer shell with creamy coconut filling, all coated in milk chocolate.

Alternatively, you can currently order the box of 12 Bounty Wafer Rolls on Amazon for £12.99 including delivery.

In January, Milky Way Crispy Rolls returned for a week after they were discontinued three years ago.

The delight, which combines crispy wafer, a soft centre and smooth milk chocolate coating, is now being sold at supermarkets such Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

The range also includes a Twix flavoured versions of the snack.

Discount Dragon, the retailer behind the bargain, is known for selling excess stock and short-dated food at rock-bottom prices.

The online discounter has previously offered massive savings on other beloved treats, including Caramac bars and Cadbury’s festive chocolate.

Shopping discounts – How to make savings and find the best bargains

Last month, the online-only retailer was selling a 48 pack of Caramac bars for £18.99 for the mega multipack which works out at £2.52 per bar.

It’s not clear how long stock will last, so shoppers keen to grab a bargain should act fast before they’re all snapped up.

If you want to get your hands on a box, head to Discount Dragon’s website – but be quick.

MORE RARE CHOCOLATES

B&M shoppers were shocked to see Perky Nanas, usually only sold in New Zealand, now being sold at the discount store for just £1.

The soft banana-flavoured 45g chew bar comes covered with Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.

Sweet-toothed customers were quick to post the find on Facebook after realising it was a rehash of the full bar sold in the mid-2000s.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
