Shocking new photos show Ukraine looking like Hell after Russian rocket attack

Shocking new photos have emerged after a brutal Russian rocket strike on Ukraine left a city up in flames.

The missiles sent to the southern city of Mykolaiv killed one person and injured 16 others in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Russian forces used S-300 anti-aircraft missiles to hit the city at around 2:30am local time. Governor Vitalii Kim announced that an industrial facility, a restaurant complex, shops, residential buildings, and cars had been damaged in the blasts.

Multiple fires erupted around the city, spanning between 30 and 1,400 square meters, lighting up the night sky with red and orange flames.

Luckily, first responders were able to extinguish the terrifying fires in the residential district, according to the State Emergency Service.

The largest fire erupted affected restaurants and shops and, according to the latest updates, is still being extinguished.

Kim said the Russian first-person view (FPV) drones were downed during the night over Mykolaiv Oblast.

The Mykolaiv Regional State Administration wrote on Facebook: “At night, October 15, around 02:30, the enemy attacked the city, previously rockets type c-300.

“Damaged infrastructure object, restaurant complex, trading pavilions, residential buildings and cars. Fires broke out, elimination measures are underway.

“As a result of the gunfire killed a woman, 16 people were injured, three of them were given ambulance care.”

Mykolaiv is about 37 miles from the front line in Kherson Oblast, and the wider Mykolaiv Oblast has been regularly hit by Russian strikes, as well as other southern regions.

Russian troops also shelled the village of Lymany in Donetsk Oblast on Monday. They damaged a house, outbuilding, and agricultural machinery, though luckily there have been no casualties reported.

The Ukrainian Air Force has previously warned of the threat posed by ballistic missiles being sent to the south of the country.
