During his first days in the facility, Sanders was out and about searching for his new head coach Kevin Stefanski.
The coach’s birthday was on Wednesday, and Sanders wanted to be one of the first to wish him a happy birthday.
“Oh yea, y’all gotta tell coach Stefanski happy birthday,” he said on a team video.
“Y’all are supposed to bring a cake to practice.”
While Sanders is working to get on the good side of his new head coach, his first day got split opinions from fans.
Many felt the young quarterback needed to change his attitude and shared those thoughts on social media.
“Bro trying to be so humble now because he got picked in the 5th round,” one fan said.
“No cake, just humble pie for Shedeur,” another fan said.
“Bro is a** kissing for playing time now,” a third fan said.
“That’s OUR QB1,” a fourth fan said.
“Already happy to see him on the team,” a fifth fan said.
Sanders has a long road ahead to becoming the Browns starter.
Currently, he is the No. 3 or No. 4 option on the team.
Joe Flacco is in line to become the Browns starter currently after being signed in free agency.
