Donald Trump erupted in fury at his Milwaukee rally, threatening to “knock people out” due to persistent microphone issues. The former president, who faced heckling at his Michigan rally and made distasteful remarks about shooting Liz Cheney, resorted to mimicking oral sex on the mic stand as he grappled with audio problems for the second time that day.
Earlier at his Michigan event, an irate Trump demanded the contractor be sacked without pay as parts of the audience struggled to hear him. Later, in Wisconsin, he was met with the same technical glitch, prompting chants from the frustrated crowd to “turn it up” and “fix that mic.”
Initially oblivious to the malfunction, Trump expressed gratitude to his supporters, even dancing to their cheers, reports the Express US.
Upon realising the issue, he yanked out his microphone, exclaiming: “Yeah I think this mic stinks. Crazy.”
He then tweeted a bewildered reaction: “What is happening”. Trump admitted he was puzzled by the crowd’s shouts and hinted at withholding payment from the contractor.”
He nostalgically mentioned the flawless audio at Madison Square Garden, asking, “Was that a great event? ” While struggling with the unwieldy mic, Trump confessed to fatigue, saying, “I’ve never held a microphone up for so long in my damn life. It’s like I’m weightlifting. This sucker is heavy.”
As the audience grew more restless, unable to hear, Trump exclaimed in exasperation: “You gotta be kidding. You wanna see me knock the hell out of people backstage? “.
The former president suggested that people moved forward, despite being right up in the top tier, and then lambasted the “stupid situation.”
“I’m angry I’m up here seething. I’m working my ass off with this stupid mic,” he bellowed.
“I’ve blown out my right arm, im blowing out my left arm, and now I’m, blowing out my damn throat too because of these stupid people.”
Earlier on Friday, Trump was irate over microphone issues at his Michigan rally and demanded that the contractor not be paid. “These mic guys. I’m telling you I’m having a lot of problems with mics lately. I’m not happy,” he fumed.
“Get yourself a new contractor please. And don’t pay the bill for this contractor … when they don’t do a good job, don’t pay your damn bill.”
