Search underway for Alabama man accused of killing 3 in Oklahoma

A manhunt is underway for an Alabama man accused of murdering three people in Oklahoma, who was most recently spotted near a motel in Arkansas, according to authorities.

Stacy Lee Drake is wanted for killing three people during the course of two separate car-jackings as well as on “multiple felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, with charges including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder,” Arkansas State Police said in a statement to ABC News.

While authorities have provided few details about Drake’s slew of alleged crimes, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday offered some information regarding two of the murders of which he’s accused.

Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sequoyah County deputies were called to a business near Gans on Highway 64, where they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman inside.

The victims have not yet been identified. And while their causes of death have not yet been provided, Oklahoma investigators said “both sustained injuries consistent with homicide.”

A car Drake had allegedly stolen was also found in Morrilton, Ark., some 130 miles east of where the bodies were discovered, according to investigators.

Authorities have also said that 50-year-old Drake should be considered armed and dangerous. They’ve warned members of the community against approaching him, encouraging them to instead call 911.

The suspect was last seen on foot outside a motel in Morrilton, some 53 miles northwest of Little Rock, according to police. He’s described as having brown hair and brown eyes. Police said he stands at about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and and weighs approximately 185 pounds.
