Sean Kingston hit with 10 charges after raid on Florida home

Singer Sean Kingston has been hit with nearly a dozen charges in his Florida fraud and theft case, just days after local authorities, including SWAT, raided his Sunshine State residence and took him into custody.

The 34-year-old “Beautiful Girls” singer, born Kisean Paul Anderson, is accused of involvement in an organized scheme to defraud multiple companies, according to the arrest warrant reviewed by TMZ.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has hit the Jamaican-American singer with 10 charges — including for grand theft and probation violation — while his mother, Janice Turner, has been charged with eight.

Kingston’s other charges are linked to defrauding banks and writing bad checks, according to TMZ. Kingston, per the warrant, was allegedly on probation for trafficking stolen property when he was taken into custody on Thursday.

Turner meanwhile was arrested hours earlier in a raid on her son’s Miami-area home, conducted by BSO detectives as well as Davie police SWAT.

“People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother!” Kingston wrote on his Instagram Story that day, just hours before he was taken into custody.

The “Take You There” singer has been accused several times in recent years of skipping out on hefty payments, often for tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars — generally to jewelers. He was sued in March for allegedly neglecting to pay $100,000 for a 232-inch television, according to the Miami Herald.

Kingston was charged as a fugitive when he was arrested in California, where he remains in custody on no bail, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s online records.
