Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ son accused of sex assault in lawsuit

Christian Combs, the son of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has been accused of sexual assault in a new civil lawsuit, which also lists his music mogul father as a defendant.

The 31-page complaint, filed late Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, marks the latest involving the 54-year-old rapper, who has recently been accused of sexual assault, sexual trafficking and engaging in other criminal activity. He has denied all of the allegations.

“Like father, like son,” attorney Tyrone Blackburn told NBC News. “It gives us no joy or pleasure in filing this suit against Christian Combs who has clearly adopted his father’s pattern and practice of depravity.”

According to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone and NBC News, the alleged assault unfolded aboard a luxury yacht on December 28, 2022, just days before Diddy put on a star-studded New Year’s party on the same ship. Grace O’Marcaigh was working that day as the sole on-duty steward, providing dinner and drink service from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Despite being told the event would be a “wholesome family excursion,” O’Marcaigh said it was a more “hedonistic environment” with partying and drug use involving a “constant rotation of suspected sex workers” and celebrities.

In the early hours of the morning, O’Marcaigh learned Christian would be joining the party to record with music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in the yacht’s makeshift studio, according to the suit. She said Combs was “heavily intoxicated” when he arrived and then pressured her to to take a shot of tequila.

O’Marcaigh said she eventually accepted to be polite, but then “the mood changed, and things became sinister.” When she tried to leave the yacht, Christian grabbed her arm, prevented her from leaving the sundeck and forced her to take another shot, according to the court documents.

“Plaintiff was quite scared and realized she was in a very dangerous situation,” the paperwork said, adding that O’Marcaigh began to feel strange and “quickly suspected the tequila was spiked.”

Christian then proceeded to kiss her neck and face as he groped her, O’Marcaigh claimed. She added that Jones, who filed a separate sex trafficking lawsuit against Sean Combs in February, recorded some of the exchange.

The audio recording purportedly captures O’Marcaigh asking if she was being drugged and requesting that Christian stop touching her legs and “ass.” He then allegedly cornered her in the yacht’s cinema a short time later and became “extremely aggressive,” stripping off his clothes, grabbing her arms and “trying to force plaintiff to perform oral copulation.”

O’Marcaigh says she eventually managed to free herself of Christian’s grasp, and then said she reported the incident to the ship’s captain. She claimed her allegations were not properly investigated and that Diddy paid him off.

She is seeking unspecified damages. Representatives for Christian Combs did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the suit.
