RYAN Clark could not believe that the Pittsburgh Steelers passed on Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders fell out of the first round of the NFL Draft, but Clark expected one team to use their pick on him.

Clark formerly played for the Steelers and had his fingers crossed that they would pick Sanders at No. 21.

They ultimately decided not to, instead picking defensive tackle Derrick Harmon out of Oregon.

Sanders’ slide became even more surprising when the New York Giants traded up to select a quarterback.

They opted to take Jaxson Dart out of Ole Miss instead of Sanders.

That pick was basically the nail in the coffin for Sanders’ first round hopes, and now he will hope to have his name called in the second.

While all of this was happening, Clark was live with his podcast, The Pivot, watching the draft take place.

He anxiously awaited the Steelers’ pick to see them select Sanders, but was let down when his name wasn’t called.

Clark was completely baffled by the pick and shouted out his frustrations.

“Mason Rudolph? Mason Rudolph?” Clark shouted.

“He went to Tennessee and got worse!”

Clark continued his rant by shouting about Aaron Rodgers and his current contract holdout with the Steelers.

“You know what we’re going to do? Oh, let’s wait for Aaron,” he said.

“Wait for Aaron to make a decision. We let Aaron Rodgers hold us hostage like we a four. We’re the Pittsburgh Steelers.”

For now, it appears that Mason Rudolph is the No. 1 quarterback in Pittsburgh until something changes.

Steelers fans shared Clark’s fury with the draft pick, and shared their thoughts on social media.
