Queens subway platform fight ends with man fatally struck by F train

A 20-year-old man was fatally struck by Queens subway train during a fight with a teen on the platform

The clash between the victim and an 18-year-old man inside the 74 St.-Roosevelt Ave. station in Jackson Heights somehow ended with the victim on the tracks about 11 a.m. Monday, cops said.

The victim died at the scene after being hit by a Jamaica-bound F train. His name was not immediately released.

Cops believe the victim fell onto the tracks while scuffling with the teen but the incident remains under investigation.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. No charges were immediately filed.

The death on the tracks snarled train traffic in Queens, causing major delays into the afternoon on the E, F, M and R along the Queens Boulevard line.

Manhattan-bound trains were still bypassing the station as of late Monday afternoon, though Jamaica-bound service had resumed.
