Queen's son unveils three diet and health changes to his life

Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, has spoken out about his ongoing effort to prioritise health after making three big changes in his life. Although he has always led a ‘lavish lifestyle’, reports suggest he’s now switching it up just two months before his 50th birthday.

Crucially, this includes a ‘more restrained approach’ to eating and drinking, while he’s also attending a rather surprising set of classes where he’s sometimes ‘the only bloke’. In an exclusive interview with Hello!, he revealed his current hobby is Pilates, while adding: “Everyone else is 20 and toned and chiselled.

“Sometimes I’m the only bloke there, so I sit in the corner.” WebMD explains that Pilates was initially a type of exercise used by dancers to recover from injury, but now it’s practised by countless people across the world looking to capitalise on its potential health benefits.

While the science behind this is currently unclear, experts suggest it may help with pain and stress relief, along with balance, posture and coordination problems. “Pilates’s main focus is on your core, but you can expect strength gains in your arms and legs,” WebMD adds.

“Positions and movements used to activate your core rely on your arms and legs to control or apply loads to the core, which will benefit from Pilates.”

Tom’s new approach to food also mirrors that of his mother who reportedly ‘dislikes diet culture’ but still favours a balanced organic diet. Personal trainer Sarah Campus previously told The Express: “The Queen Consort leads a very healthy lifestyle with her husband King Charles.

“Camilla particularly enjoys eating hearty meals using fresh produce, a lot actually which is produced on their estate.”
