The royal couple revealed a light-hearted secret routine that unfolds nightly at their five-bedroom home, Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor.

They live at the plush estate with their gorgeous three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
But, they also cherish a slightly less well-known family member behind closed doors.
Wills and Kate welcomed their dog Orla into the home back in 2021.
During a visit to the Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, Prince William made his sweet confession.
He revealed their cocker spaniel sleeps in the bed with Kate and himself each night.
The royal told well-wisher Louise Harland, who later explained to Hits Radio Cornwall: “[William] said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate.
“[He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. He asked what breed he was and he’s never met one of those breeds, he’s a Cockerjack, so he’s a little bit of a unique combination.”
The couple adopted their beloved pooch after Kate’s brother, James Middleton, helped his dog Luna give birth to puppies.
Orla was one of the litter who caught their eye, and she was quickly snapped up by the family.
James shared on Instagram at the time all the puppies had “lovely homes waiting for them”.
Kate and William introduced eight-month-old Orla to their first spaniel pup Lupo.
The Prince had gifted his family with the four-legged friend after he was deployed to the Falklands while serving for the RAF in 2012.
Sadly Lupo passed away shortly after Orla’s arrival, which reportedly left the couple and their trio “devastated”.
They paid tribute to their pet on social media, and loving called him the “heart of our family for the past nine years”.
Orla has since been spotted in several of the Waleses family photographs.
She was also seen in Kate’s announcement video stating she had finished her chemotherapy.
The cocker spaniel was laying on a blanket at the beach and running through the forest with George, Charlotte and Louis.
She also featured in Princess Charlotte’s seventh and eighth birthday portraits.
And, Orla isn’t the only family pet.
Prince William also spoke of their guinea pigs during an event at Woodgate Valley Urban Farm last year.
He told people at the engagement: “These guys are pretty cool. We’ve got guinea pigs at home and they are not like this.
“I have to spend my life cleaning out the guinea pig cage because the children forget to do it.
“And then they run off because you have to handle them all the time, that’s why these ones are so calm.
“The ones we’ve got at home, they’re off. You have to keep them constantly stroked and looked after.”
This comes after the secrets of Kate’s new blonde 20-inch hair transformation were also revealed – and the golden rule she’ll never break.
The Princess stunned in a recycled, red coatdress by Catherine Walker on Monday – but it was her lighter “bronde” hair colour which caught some royal fans’ eyes.
Hair expert Adem Oygur of Adem London told Fabulous that the royal appears to have slightly tweaked the colour to an “old money” style.
Plus, King Charles has confessed his favourite musicians including an iconic pop star – and surprise Brit awards winner.
Speaking from Buckingham Palace, he said music has always “meant a great deal to me”.
He went on: “It can lift our spirits to such a degree, and all the more so when it brings us together in celebration.
“In other words, it brings us joy.
“So this is what I particularly wanted to share with you, songs which have brought me joy.”
Kate Middleton’s ‘golden rule’ with George, Charlotte and Louis

KATE’S key rule for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis is about kindness.
According to HELLO! Online’s Royal Correspondent: “Based on observations of photographs of Princess Diana at the time, and the current Princess of Wales, they are both very affectionate with their children.
“Kate is often seen holding her children’s hands or picking them up for cuddles when they were smaller.
“There are often lots of comforting gestures, such as a pat on the back or stroking their hair. When interacting with other children on her public engagements, Kate often crouches down to their level to engage with them – something that Diana would often do.”
When she’s at the family’s home of Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, despite her royal status, insiders say Kate is just like any other “normal mum”.
A friend explained that behind closed doors, the 42-year-old is “very chilled at home” but definitely not a pushover and will tell the kids off when needed.
They told PEOPLE: “It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces.
“She is doing that to help her children be more grounded and keep their reality in check. That’s what really matters to her.”
